Wrinkles.

Reducing signs of aging requires a careful and thorough assessment of your skin and tissue.

Here are the areas to consider-
  1. Dynamic Wrinkles: Dynamic wrinkles are caused by the repeated contraction of facial muscles during facial expressions, such as frown lines (glabellar lines), forehead lines, and crow's feet (lines around the eyes).
  2. Brow Lift: By selectively weakening the forces that pull the eyebrows downward, there may be lifting of the brows to work more effectively, resulting in a lifted and more youthful appearance.
  3. Bunny Lines: Bunny lines refer to the wrinkles on the sides of the nose when smiling or scrunching the nose.
  4. Gummy Smile: A gummy smile occurs when an individual's upper lip elevates too much, exposing a significant portion of the gums when smiling.
  5. Vertical Lip Lines: Also known as smoker's lines or lipstick lines, vertical lip lines can be diminished by some therapies.
  6. Masseter Muscles to reduce TMJ pain, grinding or improve face shape.
Other advanced areas are Platysmal neck bands, axillary sweating, and body shaping, e.g. calf and trapezius muscle.

The complete assessment of your face by Dr Young will include dynamic videos to assess movement in speaking and smiling.

"Mom, if you continue to frown, you will get wrinkles!" A young Dr Young said to his mother in 1983.
In the early 80s, many years before muscle relaxant medicines were discovered and widely used for medical and cosmetic purposes.
Just still a child, Dr Young saw his mother frowning; fortunately, she had lovely skin and was, even in the early 80s, quite obsessed with skincare, using Helena Rubenstein cream. She always wore sunblock, hats, and umbrellas to shade her from the harsh sun.

In response to her son's comment, she said -"Well, I don't know, I'm frowning.", he responded by saying- "Why don't you place some tape ... so you know you are?!'
